Italian radio program “Jazz a Nota Libera” invites Giovanni Ceccarelli

 

On Wednesday, May 8th at 10 p.m. Italian radio program “Jazz a Nota Libera” – TeleRadioStereo 2 will invite Giovanni Ceccarelli.

The pianist and Massimo Nunzi, musician and the program’s speaker, will present the CDs “InventaRio incontra Ivan Lins” and “Météores” in the occasion of their release’s anniversary.

“InventaRio incontra Ivan Lins” was co-produced by Giovanni Ceccarelli together with his group InventaRio. The CD, a collaboration between the Italian/Brazilian group and the great Carioca musician, was released in May 2012 by prestigious label Blue Note / EMI Music Italy. Ceccarelli is also featured as a pianist, keyboard player and arranger.

“Météores” was recorded by the Giovanni Ceccarelli Trio and it was released in May 2011 by French label Bonsaï Music. The CD was awarded with the “Sélection FIP” in France and the “Sélection HM Suisse” in Switzerland. Giovanni Ceccarelli is featured as a pianist, arranger and composer.
