New book “Dizionario del Jazz Italiano” by Flavio Caprera mentions Giovanni Ceccarelli
Journalist Flavio Caprera has recently published the book “Dizionario del Jazz Italiano”. Released by Feltrinelli, it is a dictionary containing profiles and selected discographies of the most representative jazz musicians in Italy.
Giovanni Ceccarelli is mentioned in the book. Caprera writes that “Giovanni Ceccarelli is a pianist of rare sensibility, lyrical, elegant, velvety, almost discreet, who can put himself forward both as a leader and as an accompanist. Each note he plays is thought over.”
