Giovanni Ceccarelli gives a solo concert in Tokyo

 

Giovanni Ceccarelli will be performing for the first time in Japan.

On February 28, he will present his solo performance entitled In Music’s Hands, a collection of own compositions and renditions of music by Tom Jobim, Ennio Morricone and Djavan.

In Music’s Hands is also the title of Giovanni’s latest release, a sheet music book presenting original music for piano, vocals and other instruments.

Giovanni will play at the Tokyo music club Baroom. This concert was possible thanks to the organization and promotion work by record producer Shota Inaba. Giovanni and Shota have been collaborating for more than ten years. On his record labels Rip Curl Recordings and Bar Buenos Aires, Inaba has released in Japan Giovanni’s albums InventaRio, Mare Calmo and Eu Te Amo – the music of Tom Jobim.
