On September 23rd a new album by Italian saxophonist Toni Germani has been released: Canzoni in Scatola/Songs in a Box features a collection of compositions by Germani and was published by English label Slam Productions.
For this recording Toni Germani involved Giovanni Ceccarelli, following up to their collaboration in the early 2000, when they recorded together Germani’s album Blues Ballate Canzoni and toured Argentina and Mexico.
The group is completed by double bassist Mauro Gargano and drummer Patrick Goraguer, both members of the new Giovanni Ceccarelli Trio.
