In October 2016 Giovanni Ceccarelli made a two week-long tour in India with Marcello Allulli and Matteo Fraboni. Together they performed the Live soundtrack for silent movie Cenere in Jaipur, Chennai, Delhi, Bangalore, and Kolkata.
In that occasion Indian journalist Abhijit Ganguly interviewed the pianist for the Kolkata Konnector.
