Giovanni Ceccarelli releases new album “Pagine Vere”

 

“Pagine Vere” is the result of a long collaboration with vocalist and lyricist Michela Lombardi. A collection of compositions spanning through Giovanni’s entire career becomes a songbook thanks to Michela’s lyrics. The trio is completed by guitarist Luca Falomi, who enhances the music with his sensitivity and rich expressive palette.

Giovanni’s music is here performed with lyrics in Italian, English, Portuguese, French and Corsican written by Michela and by Max De Tomassi, André Carvalho, Stéphane Casalta and Ciara Arnette.

The trio invited as guest artists on this album vocalist Petra Magoni from duo Musica Nuda, Giovanni’s longtime collaborator, the double bassist Ferruccio Spinetti, Brazilian multi-instrumentalist and producer Dadi and French singer/songwriter Stéphane Casalta.

“Pagine Vere” will be released by Da Vinci Publishing on November 12 2021.
