“Roma Patria Comune” featuring Giovanni Ceccarelli in an artist-in-residence plus performance at the Odin Teatret

 

“Roma Patria Comune” is a performance which is written and directed by Federica Altieri. It features actress Maria Letizia Gorga, saxophonist Marcello Allulli, drummer Ermanno Baron, photographer Paola Favoino, and video maker Claudio Ammendola. Giovanni Ceccarelli partecipates to the performance as pianist and composer.

The seven Italian artists were hosted for a week at the legendary Odin Teatret in Holstebro, Denmark. Founded by great theater director Eugenio Barba in 1964, Odin is one of the most significant theater companies in the world.

Danish actor Ulrik Skeel was invited as guest on stage for the performance of “Roma Patria Comune”, which took place at the Odin Teatret on September 30.

The artist-in-residence and performance were supported by the Italian Cultural Institute in Copenhagen.
